This Saturday I went to an old favourite market of mine, West end market. It is a truly enjoyable environment to get your fruit and veggies from while listening to fantastic music.

This is  Linda from Cushion culture! She was one of the fabulous stallholders this weekend and her work is  great. She just recently started making beautiful earrings and key holders from wood.

You can even have  a personalised cushion made. Personally  I love all things natural and the artist in me loves creativity too. You can go over to https: www.cushionculture.com.au and check out Linda’s  website. (She’s also on facebook and instagram.)

Rachel enjoyed shopping at www.journeyeast.com.au  for bamboo clothing. This Saturday their specials included tops for only $10.  Stephanie Tocker is your girl to talk to and I will definitely get my next dress from her. She is big on earrings and buckle belts and knows how to dress you up ! This chick rocks! Go Steph!

Food glorious food! There are a variety of different choices.

With parking available at only $3 inside the market and music for entertainment, this is my favourite market I’ve been to so far. I still need to go down to Northey street markets as they have a lot more organic and biodynamic food to offer.

Organic will always be best so you should try and grow your own food as much as possible and then stock up from the markets to support our farmers. We need them more than we realise.
